Early Life and Education
Dr. Rajendra Prasad was born on December 3, 1884, in Zeradei, Bihar. He displayed brilliance as a student from a young age and pursued higher education in law and economics. Role in the Freedom Movement
Inspired by Mahatma Gandhi, Prasad actively joined the Indian freedom struggle. He took part in key movements such as the Salt Satyagraha and the Quit India Movement. President of the Constituent Assembly

First President of India
When India became a republic on January 26, 1950, the nation elected Dr. Rajendra Prasad as its first Acting President. Later Life and Legacy
After stepping down from public office, Dr. Prasad returned to Patna and wrote several books, including his autobiography. He passed away on February 28, 1963. His legacy as a statesman, scholar, and patriot continues to inspire future generations.
