Early Life and Education
Li Yuanchao was born in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province, China. He pursued higher education at East China Normal University, earning a degree in mathematics. Later, he attended Peking University for a master’s degree in economics and also studied at the Harvard Kennedy School, enhancing his global outlook.
Political Career
Li began his political journey in the Communist Youth League of China, rising through the ranks to hold several leadership roles. His career progressed with positions such as Party Secretary of Jiangsu Province, where he promoted economic growth, environmental protection, and urban development.
