Kings of Mongolia

Another important Mongolian king was Kublai Khan, the grandson of Genghis Khan. He became ruler in 1260 and is famous for founding the Yuan Dynasty in China. He made Beijing his capital and became the first Mongol ruler to govern all of China. Kublai Khan encouraged trade, culture, and communication between East and West. During his time, the famous traveler Marco Polo visited his court and wrote about the greatness of his empire.

There were also other rulers like Mongke Khan, who helped maintain the strength of the empire. He focused on administration and continued military expansion.
